Coffs Harbour experiences

Coffs Harbour Australia

Coffs Harbour hotels

Coffs Harbour is a seaside city lying between Sydney and Brisbane. First named in 1847 as Korff's Harbour. It is shaped in a triangle. At one point of the triangle lie the Railway Station and the Marina, at another is the old town centre, and at the third is the Park Beach Plaza. Banana plantations line the backdrop to Coffs Harbour.

Offshore, are the Solitary Islands. For a good view go up Sealy Lookout. At the Jetty, walk along to Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve. Between June and November watch whales.

There are many National Parks, State Forest and nature reserves. And for adventure try sky-diving, scuba diving, white water rafting, horse riding, game fishing, surf rafting or surf board riding.

The coastal area has many great beaches and some of the best beaches in Australia. Inland is very rural and very productive agriculture land.

Coffs Harbour has a very pleasant climate all year and normally maintains a least 19 degrees all year.

To the south of Coffs Harbour are the towns of Nambucca Heads and Bellingen. To the north are Ballina,Lennox Head, and Byron Bay all covered in the Byron Bay eguide.
